We also value the practice of Upcycling.

What is upcycling?   Straight from Mr. Webster himself :

up·cy·cle :  (/ˈəpˌsīkəl/)   verb

to reuse (discarded objects or material) in such a way as to create a product of higher quality or value than the original.

We use this environmental sustainability opportunity each day in reviewing our current inventory of new items as well with any of our customer returns.

If you choose to retire your lightly used, clean and laundered SWADE apparel items, namely tops and caps, you can request a Upcycle Return Label by contacting our support staff. Once they've identified the item(s) are in good condition to upcycle, they will email you a label that allows you to return your product(s) to us free of charge.

SWADE works with local tailors, sewers and charities to share the materials for laundry bags, aprons, pillow cases, blankets, kitchen potholders, coasters, you name it... they are making it! And for those new products we just can't sell, we turn them into store products you can purchase with confidence and pride in doing your part in repurposing materials for a purpose and for the greater good.

To participate in our upcycle program, you can reach us at hello@swadestore.com if interested in Upcycling today!

We are all in this together to care for our communities and planet, even if it is one t-shirt and cap at a time.  Care for yourself, be kind to others and be brave in the face of adversity.  Have love in your heart, keep balance in your life, find harmony among all things and respect each other. Be SWADE.
